		<description>Looking back on this post over two years later, the funny thing isn&#039;t so much Krugman as the notion that somehow Republicans would help work to solve the nations problems if only the Democratic president would avoid divisive rhetoric.  We all bought that to some extent, I think, and now it&#039;s certainly good for a laugh.</description>

		<description>We just haven&#039;t paid enough attention to Krugman.   Unlike us, he understands that the American economy now is at least as bad as it was in 1932.
